Coyote is a cafe right by the port on Kohama. The menu includes Yaeyama soba (small is ¥550), taco rice, rafute (braised pork belly) rice bowl, and mango parfait. It is open until the last ferry to Ishigaki (11:00-18:00, closed Thursdays), with an outdoor terrace overlooking the port.

  • “Cool dude runs this place. Outdoor elevated patio with view of the port. Surprising how many dishes on the menu. Both of our meat lunches were delicious. Our table neighbors each had an umbrella class ice cream float. Photo-gram worthy in color and size.”
