Hotel Peace Island Taketomijima is a small 18-room hotel on Taketomi. Nishi Pier is a short walk away, and there is pickup from Taketomi Port. Because Taketomi has a charter that protects its landscape, lodging is mostly guesthouses and small hotels, and this hotel is one of them.

“Very nice rooms. Dinner and breakfast were both really good. The manager, or maybe owner, was very nice. He gave us a few beverages when we checked in, because the state of emergency does not allow for alcohol to be served with dinner. He also pointed out several constellations at night during the dark time, when the lights get turned out for 30 minutes.”

One of staff, Gagami San (?) was extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable (others please follow him). Dinner was delicious and value for money. A lady in charge of restaurants was very nice too. The hotel is near A sunset bridge. There is a bike rental to move …”
