Points raised

  • Takeout only
  • “Though prices have slightly risen from years ago, I think the quality and quantity have remained the same. They deserve all the praise for that, esp. as the first place to create buzz for the oni-sasa. Parking is available on both sides of the shop. There’s no place to eat in, other than the few benches right outside the shop.”

  • “It's a popular shop in Ishigaki. I recommend trying their gourmet option where they put fried food and onigiri (rice ball) in a plastic bag, crush it, and eat it. They also have benches outside for you to sit and enjoy your meal.”

  • “THE place for Ishigaki local specialty - onisasa! So much fun assembling - onigiri, katsu, sauce - placed in a bag - and then smashed together. Super affordable and delicious. We ate two each! The chicken is surprisingly so moist, especially for katsu. Highly recommend coming here for a really local, no frills experience.”
