“This was probably the most crowded place we saw in otherwise quiet Ishigaki. You can buy fresh fruits and vegetables here. I’m not sure if the prices are cheaper, but the selection is more varied and the fruit is fresher than what you’ll find at supermarkets. They sell locally grown fruits such as pineapple and passion fruit, and there is also a section with basic everyday item…”

They have really great meet and quite good prices when you compare it to the restaurants. A great variety of fresh fruit is also available. Parking is available in front of the market.”

It’s not only a place for local to do grocery shopping but also a good place for tourist to buy souvenirs. I think I will be shopping here often if I was a resident in Ishigaki.”
